This video is about un-installing, testing, and fixing the faulty Nissan Sentra-2010 passenger side window switch
1. When prying the Master Switch out, use a very small screwdriver and protect the trim with some cloth to prevent marring it. 2. Once the bottom part is pried out (using small screwdriver and go slow!), you will see the corrosion at contact points. 3. I use the small screwdriver and scrape the contact points gently.
It's possible that in some of these cases, that the power window has been operated a few times without being closed fully, the AUTO function is disabled if the power window is operated for 10 consecutive times without being fully closed (turning the ignition OFF and then ON does not reset the counting), doing that, causes small errors in the window position sensor to accumulate and may
Here you go.; 1. disconnect the battery and connect both the positive and negative cables together (after disconnected)) 2. disconnect the window and lock controller in the driver's side door. 3. Leave cables connected for at least 5 minutes. 4. Re-connect door window controller and locks wiring harness. 5.
All my window switches (except the Driver's) just stopped working all of a sudden. I can hear the click engaging at the door or rear windows but apparently no power is getting to there to drive the motor. Apparently the circuit board on the main control switch is known to get a specific wear spot, and voila from one day to the next no more windows.
A dead battery can be the major culprit for the driver door lock switch not working. Solution: Check the battery with a multimeter when your car is switched off. Its power should be 12v. If the battery is showing low voltage, you have a low battery. For more checking, plug it in with a charger and wait for ten minutes.Hf4BeL8.
